Puppy Palooza!

*In case of bad weather when the group Puppy Palooza! is scheduled, I will contact you for a make-up day which will be a Private Lesson that needs to be scheduled and before the next group class. This is the only circumstance I do make-up days.

Puppy Palooza is designed for puppies 16 weeks old - 1 year old. We are covering all the material needed to earn your AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy, Canine Good Citizen, Novice Trick Dog, Virtual Home Manners Puppy and Adult, Fit Dog Bronze and Silver, Intro into agility and Intermediate Trick Dog.

Puppies must prove they have all age-appropriate vaccines.

Puppy Palooza is a 6-week class. Meet once a week for 1 hour. Group setting with other puppies.

Puppies will be able to pass off their AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy, Canine Good Citizen, Novice Trick Dog, Virtual Home Manners Puppy and Adult, Fit Dog Bronze and Silver, Intermediate Trick Dog and intro into agility.

This is what the AKC says about the S.T.A.R. Puppy certificate, "S.T.A.R. stands for Socialization, Training, Activity, and a Responsible owner. Everything your puppy needs to have a great start in life. AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy is the puppy level of Canine Good Citizen, the program recognized as the gold standard of behavior for dogs."

Training classes teach you how to best communicate with your puppy. Organized training classes also provide an opportunity for your dog to socialize with other dogs. In classes aimed at earning the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy distinction, you’ll be able to get information on all of your puppy-raising questions including housetraining, chewing, and the most effective way to teach practical skills such as coming when called.
